Preparation and defense at the institute for independent candidates (PhD, DSc) are conducted in the following specialties (duration of study – 3 years):

  • Fluid and gas mechanics;
  • Technological machines; robots, mechatronics and robotic systems;
  • Theory of mechanisms and machines; mechanical engineering and machine elements;
  • Foundations, bases, and underground structures; bridges and transport tunnels; roads and metro systems.
