Today, on 09/27/2024, the Institute of Mechanics and Seismic Stability of Structures named after M.T. Urazbaev of the Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences held the first meeting of the standing Scientific Seminar 05.09.02 - "Geotechnics" (Foundations, Bases and Underground Structures. Mechanics of Soils and Rocks), which was founded on June 12, 2024. The seminar included a discussion of the dissertation work of Junior Researcher Normatov Shovkat Ibragimovich from the "Dynamics of Soil Structures" laboratory. The dissertation theme is "Stability Analysis and Assessment of Homogeneous Soil Slopes by Various Methods of the Engineering Approach".
Following heated discussions, the dissertation work of Normatov Shovkat Ibragimovich "Stability Analysis and Assessment of Homogeneous Soil Slopes by Various Methods of the Engineering Approach" was recommended for further discussion at the Scientific Council DSc.02/30.08.2022.T.61.02, awarding academic degrees in technical sciences.
